The End is in sight

We are almost there, Nic has been working like a mad man getting the code tidied and commenting and then working with me to get the presentation finished.

This has come together really well at the end even with the typical difficulties that come with working on a group project over the Christmas holidays.

It has been a real; privilege to work with both Nic and Rico on this project and I hope we get to work together again sometime soon.

November 23, 2023 We had a team meeting today to discuss how to use persistent storage. Rico had a suggestion for a SQL C++ wrapper to look into which is a good contribution. I am working on a user flow chart and I have been working through the Classes and requirements for the application. We are using Slack to discuss the project regularly ~ MrMatt

100 Days of Code: The Complete Python Pro Bootcamp

This has been a while coming and apologies to my readers, I have been ill and on top of that I have been trying to complete my Diploma. I am almost there!!!!  Right so here it goes...... I have been working on 100 days of code: The Complete Python Pro Bootcamp, it has truly been an amazing journey and I have been challenged right from the beginning.  Currently I am on day 28 and have completed the project called The Pomodoro timer. This follows the Pomodoro system where you work for 25min and then have a break for five minutes, you do this four times a day and it is supposed to increase productivity. I am going to try it out over the next few weeks and will let you know how I get on.  Well I hope you all have a great day, talk to you soon.  Mr Matt

Conundrum

December 04, 2023  Just had a catch up today and we discovered we need to modify our classes to structs and change our persistent storage to use standard C++ Libraries. This is a blow to our progress but the scope of our project has been simplified a lot. Rico and myself have made git commits on separate branches. with the flowchart and some functionality created. We will need to see what to do next when we have our next catch up. ~ MrMatt
