So I have decided to migrate from Windows to Linux. Not just any distro tho, I am going Mint......... I have no idea how this will work out I am going to dual boot it for a little while until I get all the kinks worked out and everything just the way I like it.  Wish me luck!!! ~ MrMatt

The End is in sight

We are almost there, Nic has been working like a mad man getting the code tidied and commenting and then working with me to get the presentation finished.  This has come together really well at the end even with the typical difficulties that come with working on a group project over the Christmas holidays.  It has been a real; privilege to work with both Nic and Rico on this project and I hope we get to work together again sometime soon.  ~ MrMatt

An Introduction

So I think it's about time I introduced myself. My name is Matt and up until Feb last year I was a truck driver. In Feb I decided to go back to my first love and change careers back into IT. To be specific I want to become a Software developer with a focus on security. I have a huge interest in making secure apps that work towards securing the future for our children.  I like the outdoors and hanging out with the family whenever I can.  I will continue to use this blog to document my journey learning Software Development and showcasing any work I complete.  Thanks for reading this short intro :)
