Day 45... Web Scraping with Beautiful Soup Is it legal or is it not? There are a lot of arguments for both sides and there is a lot of grey areas in both as well. As long as the data is publicly available it seems to be okay but of course you can't scrape things from sites such as YouTube or Spotify etc. Turns out that it's illegal to scrape any data behind authentication. At any rate I learned how to do it today and I am not sure I will continue to use the things I learned. It was a really good part of the course however and it will remain a part of my tool set. ~MrMatt
